SACAL produces aluminium alloys from secondary smelting. This means that, unlike producers of primary aluminium alloys, that use ore as raw material, we refine aluminium scraps through a smelting process.
Italian industry of secondary aluminium is very important in our industrial economy. In Europe it is second only to Germany as far as production tonnage is concerned. Europe has a leading role among world’s industrial areas, followed by Japan and U.S.A. .
SACAL is one of the leading European producers.
The factory in Carisio was built in 1975. It has grown, year after year, thanks to important investments and choices made in respect of the environment. Further to these choices, it is now possible to transform every kind of scrap and to completely recover processing skull.
Carisio factory is a complete plant for production of secondary aluminium alloys.
